Hi,

I have been playing the game on and off and really enjoy it. We started playing with one of the variants found on this board and really liked it and increased the enjoyment of this game a lot! I was wondering if there were more good variants out there that most people use. I found a few post mentioning that they play with x or y variant but I can't find rules about them. Is there a consolidated list for them? I am currently only using rules from CR (and going through its adventures) and I dont' remember what is different from LoD that is worth including. I will add the monsters from LoD once I am done painting them (should be soon!)

I know there is a lot of new heroes and monsters out there but I am not looking for that just yet. I am looking for new rules that will enhance the game play in some ways.

I only own Castle Ravenloft and LoD.

Summary of variants I play with (Feel free to ask me of exactly how I use them):
Black/White triangles determine initiative: You can explore in the middle of your movement, if it is a black triangle you turn is over, during white you can continue your movement and attack the monster.
Use Monster Chits: whenever a new tile is revealed and a monster is to be placed, flip one of the monster chits instead (0-4 monsters) and reveal that many monster cards and place them on the board.

Variants that I am aware of and I am going to try soon:
ninjadorg System Campaign: I am bit unclear on some of the rules but I am thinking of giving it a try.
ninjadorg Named Room Events: Looks interesting and resolves one of my issues with the game not doing anything special with them most adventures!
