The adventure system was great idea having cool miniatures with tiles in a DnD setting. It's much faster than a classic RPG session with DnD.HOWEVER, I think the actual adventure system is OUTDATED. It was based on the old 4E version and its STUCK because they want to make all of the games compatible with one another. But its a old and stale system that needs an upgrade.
So designers/publisher: PLEASE:
IMPROVE the rules. What type improvements? These can include:
a) take some of the great tactical mechanics found in Descent 2.0 as a start.
b) throw in some of the neat items/ideas from the Zombicides (like Black plague/Green Horde).
c) use some of the creative story idea mechanic from Folklore or other story driven...
I feel any of these suggestions would make the adventure game system more interesting... and increase replay value. Thanks!
